In Fun Zone, the accompanying programme during the EYOWF 2011, everybody can choose a suitable activity or form of relaxation based on their individual preferences. Fun Zone also provides a wide range of promotional documents and merchandise official products with the EYOWF 2011 theme. Educational information about Antidoping programme, environment protection and Fair Play rules are also available in the Fun Zone.
The Fun Zone is accessible to every accredited member of a delegation.
Where is the Fun Zone?
You can find it directly in the Olympic Village, about 5-minute walk from each room. All needed is to walk down the stairs from the Medal Plaza, walk between the accommodation blocks C and D and continue straight ahead down the hill. On your right, you can find the Sports Hall and the Fun Zone inside.

What is the Fun Zone offering?
Active Zone
For an active form of relaxation and rest, there is a climbing wall, jumping on hanging ropes, sports knowledge quiz blocks and other sports attractions including computer simulators. The most interesting is a Special X-BOX 360 Kinect console controlled by body moves. The others are Racing Simulators Formula 1, WRC racing cars and a Playstation 3 video game console. Fans of knowledge games, quizzes and brain-teasers can visit the IQ Park.
Social Zone
Social Zone has to parts. In first one, Meeting Point, you can exchange contacts with other athletes, get in touch with friends and family in your home country via Wi-Fi and your own PC or make group photos (Photo time). The second part, Internet Café, is also covered with Wi-Fi and local PCs´.
Relax Zone
It offers a calm atmosphere tinged with relaxation music where you can loll back in „fatboys“. The Relax Zone is Wi-Fi covered. There is also be possibility to watch TV programme including EYOWF disciplines and World Championship races.
Fitness
The Fun Zone provides two rooms designed for exercise which are open all day. Athletes may use a fully equipped fitness gym and sports hall (for football, basketball, volleyball, etc.). It can be used for team sports as well as individual training sessions and regeneration. Please, change your shoes before entering the gym or sports hall. The sports hall must be booked only at the NOC Services Centre.
